These are some works that I found in the AIGA archives that I believe to have similar connotations as my Icons. The image on the top has some of the same connotations when it comes to the color palette that I have chosen. The colors are fresh, natural and organic. The work on the bottom paralells the geometric nature of my icons. They connote a more modern and urban feel.
Connotations: natural, organic, edible, tasty, delicious, decadent, rich, cozy, warmth, fresh, organic, urban, modern, natural, digestible, humble, and calming.
