These are my initial ideas for my sport book jackets. I had a completely different idea before this one, and it wasn't that exciting. One day, however, I was perusing the worldwide web when I came across these absolutely amazing old photographs. I got quite excited and decided to change my direction completely. I love the play of modern trade gothic type on top of bars, next to the ambiance of the old world athletic photographs. Not to mention, it is quite comical. I don't know if the direction that I am going in is okay, but it makes me smile.
