FINAL RHETORIC POSTER

In my design for "An Evening With Dave Frishberg" I employed the use of metaphor and visual pun. The visual pun is experienced when I used the "o" shape of the talk bubble to represent the "o" in the term Rubato. The term Rubato refers to Dave Frishbergs conversational style of singing, and the talk bubble represents conversation. The metaphor is experienced with the background texture which is representative of the audience, and the large talk bubble representing Frishberg. It is suppose to represent Frishberg having a personal conversation with each individual in the audience. The poster is fun, and witty like Frishbergs lyrics with the bright blue color and the overall movement; which is acheived by the exponential increase in size of the term Rubato in the background.
