Practical Experience: Deciding Content

Our group sat down and wrote down EVERYTHING that we thought would be needed in the directions. We decided that too much information at this point would make it easier since we can edit down as we go along in the project time line. From there we all sat down and revised those steps...
These are most recently edited steps for the bike tire instructions.

We also started to make a list of things to keep in mind:

Have one of us use our directions without any help and remove a bike tire ourselves.
Edit our steps as we go, we don't want the directions to be too wordy.
Keep a consistent voice throughout.
Have consistent humor in all of the call outs.
Think about pros and cons to all possible formats that this artifact can take.
