I am designing some banners for my type class, and I started to incorporate the use of bars and text. I was told to look up 8vo design, because they seem to do a lot of this. I love the bright colors and the contrast in line width. This composition is very interesting to me, and I will try to keep my bar theme consistent and fun.
This is one of my banners so far...I am trying to incorporate the bars. I still want it to be highly legible since it is a billboard, so I am trying not to go too abstract. I also want to include other colors, but I know for sure that I want a fluorescent yellow in my compositions.
