i like the use of the Z-axis in some of your "soar"s. i wonder if these actions need to be consistent with the action in your image sequence?
some good ideas here. i like the fractures that feel more like a sudden snap, as if something is brittle. apparently "glisten" is hard to render. hard to tell what's going on there. as long as you have an image in your head, you're good to go. analog may be a million times easier for that one at least. could be lots of fun.
